Find what you are after in our Shanghai A-Z Directory  Posted by Adrienne Farrelly (489 days ago) Most of the department stores have a small furniture section, Orient and Pacific in Xu Jia Hui or Yi Shan Rd and Wending Rd areas, also in Xu Jia Hui. If you are in Hong Qiao, go to the big furniture warehouse on Wuzhong Rd, near Hong Mei Rd intersection. If you are in Zhong Shan Park area go to Cao Jia Du at 121 Chaning Rd. Make sure you buy something like a Slumberland or Sleepmaster. Slumberland's webbsite is http://www.slumberland.cn. Have a Chinese friend to have a look at this site and they should give addresses. They have distribution in China and they are so much more comfortable than the Chinese mattresses that feel like you are sleeping on an empty cardboard box. |
