Tipping in Shanghai

Recently live in Shanghai for 4 months now. Previously living in Qingdao for 3 years. In Qingdao I never gave any tip for services (massage, haircut, etc) otherwise they could get offended. How about in Shanghai anyway coz it's such a big and international city. If so, how much is the minimum???
