I'll be moving with my family to Shanghai on Z visa where formailities for work permit & residence permit will take three to four weeks time.
Meanwhile the new session of the international school where i want my on to get admitted has started. Last month when i went to shanghai I had filled up and submitted the application form. I am also ready to submit the semester fee.
I want to know whether the school can allow my son to attend the classes like normal students, while the process of getting work permit & residence permit can go on simultaneously. I'll be staying in serviced apartment for about two months.
Pls guide me...... its important for whole academic year of my kid. He'll be joining grade II.

I think your son can start at any of the international schools. The 2 schools my son as been in has never asked to see his resident's permit and were satisfied with me telling them that we were in the process of applying for one.

Having said that, you might want to contact the school anyway to put your mind at rest!
