Looking for short term rental

I will be arriving in Shanghai in early October, and will be staying there for 4 to 6 weeks. I am looking for a not-too-expensive place to stay. I will be there on business put paying my own rental so cannot afford the big expensive serviced apartments. Does anybody out there have any suggestions? Would be very grateful (I am coming from HK by the way). Many thanks :-)

Time is not too much of a problem,we got some different kinds of serviced apartments.Nevertheless,you should let us know some more information of what you want of the apartment, your budget and requirments. It is possible to save time and make a short list of the apartment.Pls contact me if you'd like to see and hear more.

They are ripping you off brother. You can get fully furnished apartments for 2,000rmb per month. Last year I was paying 1100rmb for a fully furnished apartment 7 minutes walking to the metro. Not big (47m2) but with all that I need.

Minhang district. Fully decorated apartment. 10 years old or so. They go from 1000rmb and up. obviously, they are not that easy to find but I lived in one for 2 years before I bought my place.

What you absolutely need to do is to get a Chinese speaking friend and talk to local agents. If an agent speaks a word in English, that is already a ripping-off. Go to small agents nearby the places you want to rent.
